Thermal Ceramic Fiber Modules
Ceramic fiber module is an important component of ceramic fiber furnace lining. It is light in weight and has low heat absorption rate. Low thermal conductivity can bring high energy saving effect. The lining does not need to be dried and maintained. The elastic fiber blanket can resist mechanical external force.
– Product Description –
Ceramic fiber modules are made from needle-punched ceramic fiber mats of corresponding materials, processed on specialized machinery according to the fiber component structure and dimensions. During processing, a certain degree of compression is maintained to ensure that after the ceramic fiber module lining is completed, each ceramic fiber module expands in the same direction, squeezing the modules together to form a seamless whole. These modules can be directly fixed to the steel plate of the industrial kiln shell using various anchors.
This new refractory lining product, designed to simplify and expedite kiln construction and improve lining integrity, replaces traditional heavy refractory materials and has promoted advancements in kiln construction technology.
– Product Features –
Ceramic fiber modules are not only used in kilns but also offer the following benefits to end users:
- A variety of anchors on the back of the modules allow for installation in both side-by-side and parquet arrangements.
- The folded blankets, after being untied, press against each other in different directions, eliminating gaps.
- The elastic fiber blankets resist mechanical forces.
- The elasticity of the fiber blankets compensates for deformation of the furnace shell, preventing gaps between modules.
- Lightweight and low heat absorption.
- Low thermal conductivity results in high energy savings.
- Resistance to thermal shock.
- The lining requires no drying or curing, allowing immediate operation after installation.
- The anchor system is located away from the hot surface of the module, keeping the metal anchors at a relatively low temperature, improving anchoring security.
