Thermal Mullite Insulation Brick
UGC Mullite insulation bricks are high alumina refractories with mullite as the main crystal phase. The bulk density of lightweight heat-insulating brick is 0.60~1.25g/cm3. Working temperatures range from 1300℃ to 1650℃ the refractory of mullite brick is relatively high, reaching above 1650 ℃. The starting temperature of load softening is 1600 ~ 1700 ℃.
UGC Insulating Firebrick (IFB) is a lightweight, high-porosity (typically 50%-80%)refractory brick made from alumina and silica that is designed to withstand high temperatures while providing excellent thermal insulation and low heat conductivity. Its low thermal conductivity minimizes heat loss in furnaces, kilns, and other high-temperature applications, making it energy-efficient. The porous structure is created by adding an organic filler that burns away during manufacturing, and the bricks are soft enough to be easily cut with standard hand tools for custom shapes
